It’s been a weird year both personally and with gaming.
I think I may initially have bitten off more than I could chew with the scope of this site and what I wanted to do with it and posting to it has suffered because of that.
So over the last few months I’ve been developing a plan on how to make this (and other) blogs work better.
I’ve realised I haven’t actually played any Star Wars games since the X-Wing Miniature Regionals at Beanie Games.
I think I may have got a bit disillusioned with the game at that point, and I also got introduced to Malifaux which has really taken over my life in the past year.
The plan for the blog is to get up to date with the FFG Store Championship details and then start adding more events to the event area to help make this a resource for all tournament players. I would love to make this worldwide but will start small with the UK to begin with.
The next thing I have to do is to actually play more games, and I am looking at setting up an Imperial Assault campaign at one of the gaming clubs I go to to help start that. I will always have at least a triple Interceptor build with me to try and fit at least one game of X-Wing in at the start or end of a night, but will also look at starting up an X-Wing league at the club.
It’s relatively easy with those games, and Armada, as I know there is interest and players at the club, but the RPG and LCG are just that little bit harder to get games in with as there are less people wanting to play those but I will just have to put the effort in.
So the site should see a lot of activity in the New Year.
I hope everyone has a great New Year and a wonderful 2016.
